Juliette is a specialist divorce and private children law solicitor of over 30 years' standing. She represents both husbands and wives, and has achieved significant successes for her clients, who are often from diverse, international backgrounds.
Juliette is highly skilled at handling delicate child-related issues such as where children will live, relocation, and child contact and financial claims. She has had significant experience in 'leave to remove' cases.
Juliette often manages complex divorce cases which involve high value financial claims and/or international multi-jurisdictional issues and company structures. She is equally happy negotiating out of court as she is running a case through the courts at the highest level.
She specialises in drafting bespoke prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. A Guernsey Advocate*, Juliette often advises on cases with an offshore element, or which involve trusts. Her clients are often from the entertainment and sports sectors as well as business owners and professionals.
Prior to co-founding Peters May, Juliette ran the family law department of a large City law firm. She started her family law career working on large, high profile divorce cases in the office of Raymond Tooth.
